Autumn in the Smokies 2012

Now we enter the prime of the Autumn season - Harvest Festival is beginning in the Smokies and, as we do every year, we will be seeing major color changes and some unique fun that we want to invite you and the whole family to come join!

Gatlinburg celebrates the Harvest Festival with a trio of events that pay tribute to three important aspects of October: Appalachian heritage with the Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair (Oct. 11 to Oct. 28) at W.L. Mills Auditorium, Oktoberfest at Ober Gatlinburg with a full range of German culture, food and fun (Sept. 28 to Nov. 4), and Halloween with the Ripley's Fright Nights at Ripley's Haunted Adventure on the parkway in the downtown area (Oct. 5 to Oct. 31). Bring the whole family and you all will find something you heavily enjoy in the Smokies for October. Visit http://www.gatlinburg.com/events/fall.aspx for more information.

The fall colors are already starting, and if your Smoky Mountain vacation planning hasn't by now, you might get here too late! Start your itinerary today so you can get the full Autumn experience here in the Smokies. www.allthesmokies.com
